Michael Jackson a Biblical Perspective

It was Hughes who became a recluse and because of fame and fortune wound up hiring a group of people who took advantage of his obsessions, his addictions and his sickness. When enablers profit there is no incentive to really help their victim. Yes Hughes was a victim and so was Jacko. Jacko also had victims. Children whom he justified even to the press “that it was good to sleep with little boys.” How could anyone reach that conclusion and then say it on national television? Why didn’t friends and family say, “Michael, we love ypu but this is wrong, and unhealthy?”

Talent and gifts are not everything when used in the wrong ways. Keep a man in bondage to the culture and he won’t recover. The King of Pop didn’t seem to know the King of Kings and that void in his lives, kept him in a tortured state and those who leached off of him continued to receive their paychecks.

He lost everything from his perversion and even still no one came forward to help him find “new life.” Michael Jackson lived a life that was beyond selfish, and seemed to be a walking “foolish man” example from a Biblical parable. But what of those people who surrounded him? The agents, managers, producers, and media types are a part of the Hollywood lifestyle and  they might disappear but it makes you wonder- how many handlers are still leaching off others, like Brittany, Lindsay and others? There is still time for these Pop stars to get  the help they need, harness the talent they have, and change the focus from the glitter to proclaiming the Gospel truth.
